Message from the Principal
Welcome to Cle Elum-Roslyn Elementary, home of the Gray Wolves!
As principal of the elementary, I am excited to have the opportunity to play a part in the achievements your student’s first years in school will bring. There are so many things I love about elementary students – from their natural inquisitiveness to their capacity to absorb and learn from their environments. I would like to invite you to team with us in fostering a lifelong interest in your student to think, learn, and explore.
As Gray Wolves, an integral part of our daily culture is living up to our school motto of:
- Be Respectful
- Be Responsible
- Do Your Best
Students are encouraged to strive toward this standard every day and I firmly believe that by accomplishing these goals every day, we make each and every day GREAT for ourselves. And when entire communities work toward this simple task of making great days, I believe that social and academic excellence are achieved by all.
Our team would not be complete without the caring staff and community of volunteers here at Cle Elum-Roslyn Elementary. I encourage you to reach out to your student’s teacher and play and active role in your student’s education. Opportunities to help our school can be found as a parent volunteer, a member of the Parent Action Council (PAC), or part of the Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program. By working together many fun and exciting opportunities and activities are available to our students, including Gray Wolf Reading, I Am A Mathematician, Family Nights, the Talent Show, Missoula Children’s Theatre, and some awesome assemblies!
So whether your family is new to the district or a returning friend, welcome to our “Pack”. I look forward to the experiences and adventures this year will bring us all!
Go Gray Wolves!
