Food Services During Hybrid Learning

Hello to our CERSD families!  We are excited to have progressed to hybrid learning and wanted you to know we are still putting meals together for you.

While students are on campus two days a week, we realize that access to meals for many students is an important part of their educational day and are here to continue providing healthy and nutritional meals for these students both while they are at school and on the days they are not.  Funding for these meals comes from the Summer Food Service Program, which has been extended through the end of the 2020-21 school year.  This program allows us to provide meals to all enrolled students, birth-18, at no charge.

How it will work

Families will pre-order the number of meals (breakfast, lunch, or both) needed for the week (Monday – Friday) per student by calling 509-649-4766 or emailing to davisda@cersd.org and providing the name of their student(s), address, and whether you need the meal delivered to the bus stop or to be picked up at the school.  Parents may select which bus stop they would like the food delivered at to accommodate families whose students will be staying the day with other families; bus stop locations can be found on the CERSD website, see link below. The daily menu is posted on the school district website monthly. Please note: during inclement weather, food delivery times are subject to school delays (so if school is delayed 1 hr, delivery would be delayed 1 hr, or cancelled if school is closed).
