Swiftwater Learning Center
Process for Applying to Swiftwater
Swiftwater Learning Center is competancy-based school of choice. This means that we have a limited number of seats and that students must go through an application and interview process to enroll with our program. It is important that you get familiar with how our program operates, ask questions, and be committed to an entirely new way of learning - this program is not for everyone and we want to make sure that it is going to be a good fit for each individual!
For more information about our program and how it works, please read through our Big Picture Learning High School Introductory Guide. If you still think this is the school for you your next step is to fill out the online application found in the button below.
We look forward to getting to know you!
Now Accepting Highly Capable Applications!
Hello Cle Elum Roslyn School District families!
As we prepare for the 2021/22 school year, we will be accepting referrals for highly capable services. If you know of a student you would like to refer, please fill out the appropriate form, and return it to the school district no later than Friday April 23.
There is a form for parents/guardians, and a form for Community Members/Staff. You can nominate your own student, or another student that you believe would benefit from highly capable services. The highly capable definition says "highly capable students are those who perform or show potential for performing at significantly advanced academic levels when compared with others of their age, experiences, or environments." (WAC 392.170.080).
If you have any questions please contact the student's school secretary:
