MISSOULA CHILDREN'S THEATRE RETURNING! Auditions will be held on Tuesday, February 20th from 3:15pm - 5:15pm. Kids do not need to prepare for auditions, just show up and have fun! There are 60 parts for grades K - 12. Please check out the attached flyer for more details. If you have any questions, please contact Amanda Heins at heinsam@cersd.org.

STUDENT DEVICE CHECK-UP: On Monday, January 22nd, students who checked out Chromebooks at the beginning of the year will need to bring their device, charger and case with them to school. This will be a quick check in at the Library and will require students to show their device is in working condition. BUS DELAYS & WEATHER - Many of our buses are experiencing delays due to winter road conditions. To receive message updates on whether your student's bus is delayed, please sign up for SmartTag Parent Portal. Mini Cheer Sign-Up Deadline for grades Pre-K through 6th is tomorrow, January 17th! A physical flyer with the QR code was sent home to sign up electronically, or you can sign up via the link below. Practice times will be determined at a later date and will be sent to you via email once you sign up. Cost is $50 per student. If your child has a direct sibling, the cost for that sibling will be $45. Please email greenek@cersd.org or graya@cersd.org if you have any questions. First ski tracks this week! Cross country skiing teaches our Gray Wolves a variety of locomotor skills while maintaining balance, demonstrating pacing in a variety of distances, transitioning smoothly from one skill to another as well as learning boot size and how to put on and tie boots. Our Wolves are learning many skills and gain valuable experience and cardiorespiratory exercise minutes during our snowy P.E. days! A quick friendly reminder that due to the colder temperatures, we want to make sure our Gray Wolves have the appropriate clothing to be warm and comfortable so they can participate in this fun activity. Please be sure your students have the following items on PE days: Hat, Coat, Snow Pants, Snow Gloves and Snow Socks/Boots. Thank you!

Tuesday 1/9/2024 Update - Afterschool Programs: Gear/ WOS are canceled. MS Athletics and HS Wrestling are canceled. HS Boys and Girls Basketball games are still on.
UPDATE- SCHOOL IS CLOSED Today 1/9/2024- Due to a shortage of bus drivers unable to transport students, school is now closed. We will keep you posted for tomorrow and please have safe travels.

FESTIVE SPIRIT WEEK - December 18th - 20th - Let's make the week before break a little extra fun! Monday (Dec. 18th) will be Festive Sweater Day, Tuesday (Dec. 19th) will be Crazy Sock and Hat Day, and Wednesday (Dec. 20th) will be Pajama Day! We look forward to seeing everyone's school spirit!
The Secure and Teach has been lifted for all buildings in the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District per the notification by the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. We are now allowing students to move throughout their day normally, including between the buildings.
Thank you for your patience with this process. Our students did a great job following directions and listening to staff this morning. Counselors are available at each building if students or staff would like support after this stressful situation
