2017 Math Results:

• 8th grade

  • 2nd place in Mental Math

  • 2nd place in Probability

  • 3rd place in Potpourri

• 7th grade - 2nd place overall in the competion!

  • 2nd place in Number Sense

  • 1st place in Probability

  • 1st place in Mental Math

  • 1st place in Algebra

  • 1st place in Geometry

• 6th grade

  • 2nd place in Probability

  • 3rd place in Mental Math

2017 Science Results:

• 8th grade

  • Tied for 3rd place

    • For building a car using a milk carton, limited tape, wheels, axle, and part of a sponge that can hold an egg and prevent it from breaking when ran down a ramp into a wall

• 7th grade

  • No placement this year, but great effort!

    • For building a table using a cardboard top and only newspaper for legs and limited tape to see who can hold the most weight

• 6th grade

  • 1st place

    • For making a boat out foil, straws, & limited tape that holds the most washers before sinking - which they won by 3 washers

Ask your respective subject teacher for more information if you think you would like to compete! Typically the Spring Academic Competitions are held during the week between winter and spring sports to allow our student athletes the chance to shine in this arena too!
