LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS

  • Some of the scholarships listed will direct you to use the Cle Elum Roslyn High School (CERHS) General Scholarship Application.  CERHS General Scholarship Application

  •  Each scholarship needs to be submitted separately.

  • The application will be given to the donors for the selection process.

Any Scholarship that lists a 2023 date has not been updated by the organization for the 2023-2024 school year. As scholarship organizations update their due dates and/or application deadlines and notify Sarah Day in the Career Center, the website is updated.

BIAW Education Program Scholarship

  • Since its inception, BIAW has awarded over $670,000 in scholarships and grants. They provide scholarships to students who have demonstrated a passion and commitment to developing a career in the home building industry.

  • BIAW will award scholarships to students and programs supporting construction industry-related fields.

Kittitas County Farm Bureau

  • This scholarship is available to Seniors who plan to attend an accredited University, College, Jr. College, or Technical School in the Fall of 2023.

  • To qualify for this scholarship, the applicant is required to have a family member belonging to a Farm Bureau.

  • Applications are available in the Career Center

The Lloyd Olson Memorial Scholarship

  • This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who plans to attend college. 

  • The scholarship is in the amount of $2000.00 and is for one year.

Nancy & Bill Smith Family Scholarship

  • The Nancy and Bill Smith Family Scholarship was established in 2015 to support graduates from the Cle Elum Roslyn School District who plan to enroll full-time at an accredited two-year public community or technical college.

  • Each scholarship's annual award amount is $5000.00 (Five Thousand Dollars and No Cents), renewable for a total award amount of $10,000 over two years. 

  • The scholarship may be used for tuition, fees, living expenses, and other items that ensure the success of the student's educational pursuits.

  • The ideal candidate will be hard-working, dedicated to completing a two-year higher educational program, and demonstrate financial need.

  • This scholarship is also available to past graduates and alumni of Cle Elum-Roslyn High School.

Sons and Daughters of Italy Scholarship

  • The Cle Elum chapter of the Sons and Daughters of Italy is pleased to offer scholarships ranging in amounts from $1,500 to $3,000 to qualifying Cle Elum Roslyn or Easton High School seniors.

  • These may be scholastic, vocational, or culinary scholarships to any accredited college or school.

  • Applicants must have a GPA of 2.7 or above 

  • Applications are available in the Career Center or by clicking here.

Ellensburg Rodeo Posse Scholarship

  • The Ellensburg Rodeo Mounted Posse annually awards scholarships for post-secondary education or technical training to high school graduates from Kittitas County high schools.

  • It is NOT necessary that a candidate be involved with Rodeo or horses to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • A strong community service record is encouraged of all applicants.

Cle Elum Eagles #649 Scholarship for Trade School

  • The Cle Elum Eagles #649 scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors who are planning to continue education in post-high school vocational or academic curriculum. 


    This scholarship is intended to assist any student in attaining the educational requirements leading to a:

    1. Certification of vocational competence from a state licensing office, or 

    2. Journeyman license when supplemental to an apprenticeship program, or 

    3. Degree from a state recognized junior college, or trade school, or

    4. Certificate of Completion from a school recognized and accepted by the Scholarship Committee: such as, college of ministry, barbering, meat cutting etc. 

    Candidates will be evaluated and the scholarship recipient will be selected based upon answers given to questions in the application.

Roslyn, Ronald, Cle Elum Heritage Club Scholarship

  • The scholarship is for $1,000. Minimum qualifications for application:

    • Students must be multi-generational to Upper Kittitas County.

    • Students must show involvement in school and/or community activities-Sports, clubs, student government, volunteering, etc.

    • Student must  have attended Cle Elum-Roslyn School District for 12 years

    • Students must have at least a 2.5 grade point average.

Kittitas County Medical Society

  • Offering a $500 Scholarship to a Kittitas County student who is interested in going into the medical field.

  • Doesn't have to be a medical school.

  • The Society is interested in supporting students going into any part of the medical field

The Margaret and Alfred Choyce Memorial Scholarship

  • A scholarship for $1,000 is being offered to a Cle Elum Roslyn or Swiftwater graduate who will be attending a trade school or community college.

Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Alumni Scholarship

  • Donations have made it possible that one or two scholarships will be awarded to members of the graduating CLASS of 2024 from Cle Elum-Roslyn High School. 

  • Academic Achievement is only one factor considered.  Other important considerations are the needs of the student, recognition of advanced training in various trades and crafts, and the motivation and good citizenship of the applicant.

Cascade Field & Stream Club Duane Fluent Memorial Scholarship

Volleyball and Academics Scholarship

  • A $2,000 scholarship is being offered to a Cle Elum Roslyn Varsity Volleyball player.

  • Eligibility: Minimum two-year Varsity player and three years in CERHS Volleyball Program

  • Higher Education Requirements: Commitment to attend (A) Four-year university or college, community college, or technical or trade school, and (B) written acceptance by applicant at that school.

The Ellensburg Rodeo Scholarship

  • The Ellensburg Rodeo Association offers a scholarship for an accredited community college, university, trade school, technical college, job training or vocational education for one selected high school graduate from within Kittitas County.

Cle Elum-Roslyn Education Association (CEREA)

  • $1000 will be awarded to a graduating senior of the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School who plans to attend community college or university with the intent of furthering their education.  

  • Preference will be given to students who plan a career in the field of education.  The degrees may include teacher, early childhood education, counselor, speech therapist, occupational therapist, social worker, or psychologist.

Cle Elum Roslyn High School Warrior Booster and Pepsi Cola Student-Athlete Scholarship 

  • Available to CERHS seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above who have participated in at least two (2) years in at least one (1) sport at Cle Elum-Roslyn High School.

Roslyn Eagles Auxiliary Scholarship in Honor of Tom Missell

  • Scholarships are available for students from Cle Elum Roslyn High School who are planning on attending a Trade school.

  • $1000 will be awarded to

Roslyn Eagles Auxiliary Scholarship in Memory of Micah Narte

  • The Roslyn Washington Eagles Auxiliary is offering one $1,000 scholarship this year to a Cle Elum Roslyn who is planning to attend a technical college after graduation.

  • Use the CERHS General Scholarship Application to apply.

  • Turn in the completed application to Cle Elum Roslyn High School Career Center.

  • Deadline: May 17th

Cle Elum Police Department - BILL ROLICK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

  • This scholarship will be given to a graduating senior planning to further their education by attending a 4-year college, community college, or trade school.

  • Consideration will be given to GPA of 2.3 or better, financial need, participation in community and school activities, and application questions.  

  • Applications are available in the Career Center.

The Philean Club Scholarship

  • Two $1500 scholarships will be awarded to Cle Elum-Roslyn graduates pursuing higher education after graduation.

McPartland Law Offices Scholarship Program

  • McPartland Law Offices awards five $ 500.00 scholarships to deserving seniors in eastern Washington (the senior must graduate from a high school in Okanogan, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Kittitas, Yakima, Klickitat, Benton, Franklin, Walla Walla, Asotin, Garfield, Columbia, Whitman, Adams, Lincoln, Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, or Spokane County).

  • The applicant must write a short essay, describing the way in which the civil justice system has impacted their life. This may be a direct impact, insofar as the person or a family member may have been involved in a claim or suit. It may be more indirect, for instance, a way in which a civil case involving total strangers impacts the world in which we live.

  • The application will be graded on essay quality and presentation, as well as the applicant's high school achievements.

Roslyn Eagles Aerie No. 696 Scholarship

  • Two $1,000 Scholarships are available for students from Cle Elum Roslyn High School who are planning on attending any type of post-secondary education.

  • An additional $1,000 scholarship in memory of Tom Missel for a student athlete.

Dr. Kris Nielsen Life Support STEM Scholarship

  • Graduating Senior for Cle Elum-Roslyn or Easton School District pursuing an education in the medical or STEM related fields.

Roslyn Ridge Family Scholarship

  • An $1850 non-continuing scholarship for a graduate of Cle Elum-Roslyn High School who intends to continue education at an institution of higher learning.

  • This scholarship is sponsored by an extended Roslyn family.

Cle Elum Volunteer Firefighter's Association Bland Family Memorial Scholarship

  • For the year 2023 the Cle Elum Volunteer Firefighter's Association will award Two Thousand DOLLARS (2000) to the student whose efforts best demonstrate a commitment to being a positive influence in our community.

  • Must submit a typed essay with a maximum of 500 words. This essay should list your community service projects.

  • Applications are available in the Career Center.  

  • Deadline: May 24, 2023

Cle Elum-Roslyn Public School Employee Association (PSE) Jack Williams Memorial Scholarship

  • This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior of Cle Elum Roslyn High School who plans to pursue a post-secondary education.

  • Applications are available in the Career Center.

PB & J Scholarship

  • The PB&J Scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but who still have the drive to succeed.

  • Examples of personal challenges include, but are not limited to:

    • medical issues

    • peer issues: bullying, change of school, minority status, etc.

    • family issues: divorce, death, lack of income, homelessness, foster care, abuse, etc.

  • When in doubt, students are encouraged to apply; this scholarship is meant to be inclusive.
