WSMS Wildcat Prevention Pioneers Share #ChooseYou Message

On Friday, February 13th, the WSMS Prevention Club, Wildcat Prevention Pioneers, hosted an engaging lunchtime prevention table designed to combine education with interactive fun.

Students participated in “Prevention Plinko,” a game that challenged them to answer drug and alcohol fact questions, including true-or-false statements to test their knowledge. The activity encouraged students to think critically about substance use while learning important prevention facts in an approachable setting.

Participants received cotton candy and Valentine’s Day suckers as incentives, adding a festive element to the event and drawing strong student interest.

In addition to the activities, club members promoted the #ChooseYou campaign message, encouraging their peers to make healthy, substance-free choices and to prioritize their personal goals and overall well-being.

The event highlighted youth-led prevention in action, demonstrating how student leadership can positively influence school culture and promote informed decision-making.
