District Announcement: Testing of Security & Lockdown Alarms
Tomorrow morning (Tuesday, Sept. 9th) at 7:00 AM, our district will be conducting a test of the security and lockdown alarm systems at all schools.
Please note:
- This is only a test of our emergency systems.
- There is no cause for concern and no action is required from staff, students, or families.
These routine tests help us ensure that our safety systems are working properly and that we are prepared in the event of an actual emergency.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

Yearbook Night at The Roslyn Yard!
Get ready to reconnect with friends and kick off the new school year vibes at our special Yearbook Night! We're excited to invite you to join us on Thursday, August 21st, from 7 PM to 10 PM at The Roslyn Yard (104 W Pennsylvania Ave, Roslyn, WA 98941).
This event is exclusively for currently enrolled CERSD students. We'll have snacks, distribute yearbooks from the 2024-2025 school year, and enjoy a movie on the lawn starting at 8 PM! It's the perfect opportunity to catch up before heading back to school.
Please note the following important details:
This event is only open to currently enrolled CERSD students.
Student behavior and conduct will be subject to all school expectations.
For the safety of our students, parents/guardians must sign students in and out. Students cannot walk in and out on their own; they must remain at the event until a parent or guardian signs them out.
Yearbooks are not for sale at this event. This event is for distributing yearbooks that have already been purchased. Unfortunately, we do not have extra yearbooks available at this time.
We can't wait to see you there!

Dear Families,
Soon, many of the ParentSquare text messages you get from our school will come from regular 10-digit phone numbers. This will make it easier to see who is messaging you. For example, a message from your child’s teacher will come from a different phone number than a message from the school office.
What’s changing?
Right now, most texts come from a 5-digit number. Soon, you’ll start getting texts from different regular 10-digit phone numbers for:
Direct messages
Classroom and group posts
School posts
Messages from the district, digests and alerts will still come from the 5-digit number.
What should you do?
When you receive a message from one of these new 10-digit numbers, save it to your contacts. Here are some suggestions:
Save a teacher’s number as: Ms. Davis - 4th Grade
Save classroom/group posts as: Lincoln Elementary Classes
Save school posts number as: Lincoln Elementary Updates

Capital Projects Update – Summer Progress!
Several exciting Capital Projects have been underway this summer across the district. The Field House construction is progressing well, and the new Track Throwing Pad is taking shape. In addition, the track has been resurfaced and is being repainted with all-new lane markings, ensuring it's ready for future practices and competitions.
We look forward to sharing more updates as these projects continue to move forward, improving facilities for our students and community.
