WINTER BALL - Sunday, January 28th! Save the Date! The dance will be from 7:00pm - 10:00pm, at Suncadia Lodge. The theme is "24 Karat Gold" and is Semi-Formal. Tickets will be $20 each and will be on sale the week before the dance. If you are bringing an out-of-district guest to the dance, please complete a guest dance request form no later than the Wednesday BEFORE the dance (Jan. 24th). We have several extra ball gowns, so if you are in need, please reach out to Mrs. Keller. Stay tuned for more details!

Today we recognized and celebrated 132 students with a catered breakfast for going ABOVE and BEYOND in the areas of academics, attendance, involvement with extracurricular acitivites, and citizenship. We also created a new award called the Warrior of the Quarter. Our Warriors of the Quarter go above and beyond every day. These students scored a perfect 16/16 on the rubric and were voted on by the CERHS staff.
The Warriors of the Quarter are Cara Coleman, Caroline Smith, Josiah Beiter, and Keira Moore.
Keep up the great work Warriors! We are so proud of you!

We have Isabelle Martin, Griffin Bator, Grace Terrill, Jacob Batton, Meadow Stone, and Kayla Barr coming back to share their best tricks, tips and advice on getting the most out of your Senior year and how to successfully transition into that new chapter following Graduation!

Our High School Nurse, Rachel Henderson, is currently teaching Adult, Child, Infant CPR and First Aid to Mrs. Singer's health students. The course is about two weeks long, and the students will receive a certification for CPR and First Aid from the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) at the completion of the course. The Secure and Teach has been lifted for all buildings in the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District per the notification by the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. We are now allowing students to move throughout their day normally, including between the buildings.
Thank you for your patience with this process. Our students did a great job following directions and listening to staff this morning. Counselors are available at each building if students or staff would like support after this stressful situation
All buildings in the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District are currently in a Secure and Teach due to police activity in the community. Students are allowed to transition between classes, teachers are continuing to teach but students are not allowed to leave the buildings or travel between buildings at this time. We are also not admitting visitors into the buildings at this time. We will continue to stay in a Secure and Teach until the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office notifies us to do so. We also request that parents do not call the school to request additional details from staff at this time.
Winter Holiday Workshop is this Friday, Dec. 15th! Choose from 20 different $1 crafts! Hot dogs, popcorn & candy will also be available for purchase. Funds from this event benefit the PAC (Parent Action Council). The Winter Holiday Workshop will be located in the CERSD Elementary Cafeteria from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Please join us for this fun and festive evening!
Reminder! The CERHS and WSMS Winter Concert is this week, December 13th (Wednesday) at 7:00PM in the WSMS Gym. The concert will be featuring all CERSD Bands and Choirs! Doors open at 6:30PM. Communication was sent out to parents through ParentSquare on where performing students should meet. Parking is available in the HS parking lot, and MS/ES parking lot. We encourage our families to arrive early. See you there!
SENIORS! We are excited to inform you of a new WA Guaranteed Admission Program (WAGAP) that our district is participating in. Seniors will be automatically enrolled in this program unless parents/guardians choose to opt their student out. Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce that our Warrior, Max Dearing, has officially signed with the Edmonds Tritons Baseball Team! Let's cheer on our newest soon-to-be Triton!
Interact is holding a Wrapping Paper Drive this week to collect supplies for Project SMILE's Giving Tree. The Giving Tree will generate about 400 presents that need to be wrapped. Bring your rolls of wrapping paper, tape, gift tags or white tissue paper to the HS Office or Career Center.
ATT: Seniors!! Tomorrow is ON THE SPOT ADMISSIONS WITH CWU at 9:30 a.m. in the high school library. We will call students down in groups to the library.
