To optimize student well-being at CERSD by actively encouraging an environment where all students will be healthy, safe and ready to learn. 

Our staff is comprised of two Nurses; Elementary and Middle School Nurse, Natazshya Weis, RN and High School and Swiftwater Nurse, Rachel Henderson, RN BSN who as of the 2024-2025 school year are both available full-time! Together, we have over 20 years nursing experience to meet the needs of our students. Our team is responsible for mandated hearing & vision screenings, immunization compliance, assessment of student health needs, development & implementation of required individual health/emergency plans, in-service training for school staff, health education and other health related issues that are present in the educational setting.

Students are required to be up to date on their immunizations OR get a certificate of exemption signed by a licensed health care provider. Please see the attached form below to give to your licensed health care provider.

Students who need to take medication at school (prescriptions or over the counter) or have emergency health needs, are required to have a completed Medication Authorization form signed by a physician and parent/guardian.
