Good Afternoon Families of CERSD,
I have an exciting opportunity for you to consider being a part of. Attached is an outline of our Capital Facilities Committee we would like to begin in May. This is an opportunity for staff and community members to make recommendations to the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District School Board regarding our next steps towards safety, facility improvements, and potentially new teaching spaces. Below is the basic make up of the committee, its purpose, and expectations.

The goal is to identify interested parties in the next two weeks. We would like to get in one meeting during May, and one in June. At those meetings we will schedule the remaining meetings but we believe it will be about one meeting a month but no meetings in July, and the August meeting would be close to the start of the school year.

If we get a lot of interest from community members, we may look at reps from each building.
The future is bright for our youth and we are excited about your input on how to best meet their unique needs as we prepare them for the future.
