With Governor Inslee’s recent Roadmap to Recovery the Kittitas County Superintendents and School Boards came together to request reconsideration of our assignment to the South Central Region. We are proud of the work our county has done to support the return to in-person instruction for our students, the availability of COVID-19 testing and management of vaccinations. Click here  to view a story highlighting Kittitas County recently on CNN. Click here to read the letter submitted to the Governor: Kittitas County Letter to DOH and Governor

This week students from Cle Elum-Roslyn High School and Swiftwater Learning Center joined together (while socially distanced) to celebrate the Washington Association of School Administrators 31 days of Hope project. We felt it was important that the other districts across our state got to see that if the community works together, it’s possible to have students return to in-person learning.  We hope this video inspires more districts to follow in our county’s footsteps. The feedback we have received has been immensely positive, and we hope you enjoy it as well by clicking here

Have a great weekend!
