On October 12, our school community recognizes Indigenous Peoples Day / Columbus Day as an opportunity to reflect on our nation’s history, honor the diverse cultures and contributions of Indigenous peoples, and learn from the history of the land and communities we call home.
Our district is fortunate to have strong ties with local tribal communities and a meaningful partnership with the Yakama Nation. Through this partnership, our students have opportunities to learn about Native American heritage, traditions, history, and the enduring contributions of Indigenous peoples in our region.

Cle Elum-Roslyn School District will conduct a lockdown drill on Tuesday, October 6, at approximately 7:00 a.m. as part of our ongoing school safety and emergency preparedness efforts.
Community members in the area may notice increased activity or hear alarms during the exercise. This is a planned practice drill, not an actual emergency, and there is no cause for concern.

Today, as we remember September 11th, we pause to honor the lives lost and the heroes who showed bravery, and are reminded of the strength found in community and are grateful for those who dedicate themselves to serving others every day.
We experienced a brief disruption with Qmlativ, our student information system, which may have affected families’ ability to log in or submit student absences.
At this time, Qmlativ appears to be up and running normally. We will continue to monitor the system and work with our technology partners as any remaining issues are addressed.
As the system stabilizes, families may experience intermittent issues over the next day or so. We will keep you posted if any new issues arise.

Join the CERSD Cheer Team for a fun evening of cheer, school spirit, and Friday Night Lights! Mini cheerleaders will learn a special halftime routine to “Zoo” from Zootopia 2 and then perform alongside the cheer team during halftime of the Warriors vs. Riverview home football game!
