The Elementary School will be released at 12:25pm. and the Middle and High Schools will be released at 12:30pm. Buses will be running on an early release time as well. BUS TAG RETURN - Please have your student(s) turn in their SMARTtag badge(s) into either their school office or the school bus on the last day of school. It's crucial to ensure all SMARTtag badges are returned promptly so that the Transportation Department can manage inventory effectively and make necessary adjustments. Keeping track of these badges helps in maintaining the system's efficiency and ensures a smooth transition when students return in the fall. If a student will not be here on the last day of school, or will not be riding the bus, please return badges into the office on the student's last day of school. Thank you to all of our families for your support and cooperation!
Our CERHS Graduation is this Saturday, June 8th! The ceremony will be in the Walter Strom Middle School Gym at 2:00PM. Doors open at 1:00PM. We are incredibly proud of our seniors and their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments! Wishing our Warriors the best of luck in all their future endeavors!
SWIFTWATER GRADUATION - Graduation for our Swiftwater Seniors is next Tuesday, June 4th, at Ritter Farms (24 Lund Lane, Cle Elum, WA 98922) at 6:00PM. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments! Wishing our Summiteers the best of luck in all their future endeavors!

End-of-Year Concerts for HS and MS Band and Choir are this week! The High School will be performing on Wednesday, May 29th, and the Middle School will be on Thursday, May 30th. Call time for students is at 6:30 PM. Doors will also open at 6:30 PM for parents and family to come in and find seats. We look forward to seeing our students show off their hard work and talent!
Reminder that there's no school tomorrow, Monday May 27th, in observance of Memorial Day. However, we invite our families to join our local VFW for a small Memorial Day Dedication to honor and remember those who gave their lives to serve our country. This year’s presentation will be at 11:00am, Monday, May 27th, at the Roslyn Cemetery: Memorial Rd, Roslyn, WA 98941.

At Cle Elum-Roslyn Elementary School, Alyssa Welzien's 4th grade class recently embarked on a compelling book study of the novel "Shiloh." The heartwarming story inspired students to take action and make a difference in their community. Motivated by the themes in the book, they created posters to help advertise the needs of four animals awaiting adoption at the local ARRF Animal Rescue. These thoughtful posters are now displayed at Roslyn Grocery, showcasing the students' creativity and compassion. This project is a wonderful example of how our students are developing critical thinking skills and using their learning to positively impact the community. We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication and empathy!

Monday 5/20 at 8:30, we will be holding a "State Send Off" for our Warrior Golfers who have advanced to the 2B/1B State Tournament on Tuesday 5/21 at Tumwater Golf Course in Tumwater, WA. Our local fire districts and sheriff department are involved in this tradition and will be the reason you see multiple emergency response vehicles at the schools and going through town, please do not be alarmed if you see this.

SWIFTWATER'S ANNUAL PLANT SALE! Students at Swiftwater have been busy nurturing tomato and pepper plants from seeds as part of a horticulture project. The plants, including 10 tomato varieties and 8 types of peppers, will be available for purchase at the "Celebration of Student Learning (CSL)" on the night of May 23rd from 5:00PM-7:00PM for $3.00 (cash only please). For those unable to make the CSL, online sales will also be available, starting May 20th at: https://www.cersd.org/o/swiftwater/page/swiftwater-plant-sale. **There was a misprint on Plant Sale dates in the Tribune - please note that the information above is correct.**
The Community Health & Wellness Fair will occur Thursday, May 23rd, 5:00pm-7:00pm in the Elementary/Middle School gym during the Celebration of Student Learning. The first 170 students to attend will receive a small prize!
Reminder! The Jazz Café Fundraiser is this Friday, May 17th, from 5:00PM - 8:00PM at the Cle Elum Eagles - 220 N. Pennsylvania Ave, Cle Elum, WA. This is the largest fundraiser for the music program! The Middle School Jazz Band, High School Jazz Band and Aaron Tuchardt's professional Jazz Band "Legions of Jazz" will be performing. There will be a taco dinner, silent auctions, and dessert auctions. Help raise money for clinicians, competition costs, a new trailer and more! Hope to see you there!

Mrs. Wheatley's middle school science class recently got to use their new field microscopes, generously provided by the Cle Elum-Roslyn Education Foundation. Thanks to the Foundation's kind donation, students were able to explore and investigate the intricacies of biology up close, enhancing their learning experience. A huge thank you to the Cle Elum-Roslyn Education Foundation for their support and commitment to enriching our students' education. Your generosity is truly making a difference in our classrooms!
Save the date! The Cle Elum-Roslyn School District is hosting our 13th annual “Celebration of Student Learning” on Thursday, May 23rd, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This Celebration’s goal is to shine a light on our community of lifelong learners and celebrate the demonstration of their learning in a variety of ways including projects and activities which will be on display for you. This involves all students from Kindergarten thru Seniors. More information to come soon!

This week, our 1st and 2nd graders dove into the world of swimming and water safety at the Suncadia pools! Thanks to the generous grant from the Suncadia Community Enhancement Fund, our young learners had the opportunity to receive invaluable instruction in swimming skills and water safety practices. We're grateful for this enriching experience that promotes health and safety for our students!
