Please join us in celebrating the retirement of Dottie Lang, a dedicated and caring bus driver who has been with the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District for 19 years.
For nearly two decades, Dottie has been a constant source of warmth and dependability for our students and families—offering a reassuring presence each morning and a cheerful send off at the end of the day. Her kindness, patience, and consistency made a lasting impact on all those lucky enough to ride her bus.
Dottie, your service and care have meant so much to our school community. You will be truly missed, and we wish you all the best in your well-earned retirement.

Please join us in honoring Karla Hill, who is retiring after an incredible 27.5 years of service as a Paraeducator with the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District.
Throughout nearly three decades, Karla has supported generations of students with compassion and care. When asked about her proudest moments, she shared, “The proudest moments are yearly when I watch our students receive their diplomas.” Her impact has been deeply felt across our schools, and her presence will be truly missed.
As she steps into retirement, Karla looks forward to autumn hikes and traveling south during the winter months. She says her first official day of retirement will likely come with “an overwhelming amount of tears of joy and sadness.”
Thank you, Karla, for your years of dedication, heart, and support. Wishing you joy and adventure in this well-earned next chapter!

Our district and school offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth. Wishing everyone a meaningful and restful day!

Please help us celebrate Kimberly (Kim) Dellinger, who is retiring after 15 years of dedicated service as a Teacher with the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District.
Kim has made a lasting impact on countless students through her years in the classroom. She shared that her proudest moments come when former students greet her with a hug or high five—sometimes even telling their friends and siblings how much they enjoyed having her as a teacher. These connections are a true testament to her positive influence and care.
As she begins this new chapter, Kim is looking forward to visiting her newest granddaughter on her first official day of retirement! Her summer plans include traveling to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons with her family, spending more time with loved ones in Oregon, and getting back into scrapbooking to capture special memories.
Thank you, Kim, for your years of service, heart, and dedication. We wish you all the best in your well-earned retirement!

As the school year has come to a close, we extend our sincere appreciation to Scott Ferguson, who is concluding his time with Cle Elum-Roslyn School District after serving the past three years as our Student & Campus Safety & Security Coordinator.
A proud alumnus of our district, Scott brought his career full circle by returning to the very school he once attended. During his time with CERSD, he played a key role in strengthening our safety protocols and enhancing campus security measures—work he calls “a constantly evolving endeavor.” As Scott shared, “School safety and education go hand in hand,” and we are grateful for the solid foundation he helped lay for the continued safety of our students and staff.
Thank you, Scott, for your dedication and service. We wish you the very best in all that’s ahead!
