All school buildings are currently in a secure & teach due to an upset parent. This is unrelated to the Tik Tok threat. A secure and teach means that the exterior doors are locked but our students and staff are free to move about inside the building and our teachers will continue to teach.

We had special guest serving the kids lunch yesterday. The kids loved it as you can see by the smiles on their faces. A big thank you to Cle Elum-Roslyn PD.

Swiftwater Learning Center is hosting a gently used toy exchange on Dec. 14th & 16th! This project has been the brainstorm of one of their talented students who is passionate about helping other kids in our community! This weekend is a good opportunity to find those gently used toys sitting around your home that are ready for a new kiddo to cherish. Toys can be brought to Swiftwater Learning Center before the actual event OR bring the toys with you to exchange!

Today we celebrated Grandpa Ron's retirement with a parade. He has been an amazing volunteer and member of our staff. Although he has promised to continue to come by occasionally to greet our students in the morning, we will sure miss seeing him every day. Cheers on a well deserved retirement!

Today, high school students in Mr. Bell’s Environmental Science and Natural Resources classes were able to participate in making a video with the Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildlife on wolf awareness. The video will be used by the department as a way to educate the public about the best way to react in the event of a wolf encounter. We can't wait to see the final video! For now, we wanted to share a little "behind the scenes" footage from this morning. Go Warriors!
