Meet our Food Services Kitchen Manager, Hollie Stone, and Consultant, Eric Smith! They work behind the scenes to help our kitchens provide great meals for our students. In these photos, they were preparing homemade strombolis for school lunch the next day. This included rolling dough, filling and par baking. It is a four hour task that is made the day before so it is ready to bake the next day.

Secure & Teach Today 1/305/24 - All buildings in the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District were put in a Secure and Teach around 11:15am, Police were notified due to an employee overhearing assumed gunshots during recess. The local police and Sherriff Department assessed the situation and surrounding areas, and advised that we could resume regular teaching. As of 12:08pm, we released the Secure and Teach, and schools are back to normal.

CERHS KEY CLUB PROJECT UPDATES - Check out some of the amazing projects that our High School Key Club has completed! Our Key Club students created handmade Christmas Cards and delivered them to the local Nursing Home residents in Cle Elum, South Cle Elum, and Ellensburg. They bought and delivered gifts for High School Staff in a "Secret Santa" gift exchange to thank them for all they do for students, and they also coordinated a clothing drive and donated several bags of warm clothing items to COAL Community Clothing Center in Ronald to help local families in need during this winter season. We are so proud of our Warriors!
Cle Elum-Roslyn School District will be closed on Monday, January 29th for a Staff Professional Development work day. Classes will resume Tuesday, January 30th. Have a great weekend!

MISSOULA CHILDREN'S THEATRE RETURNING! Auditions will be held on Tuesday, February 20th from 3:15pm - 5:15pm. Kids do not need to prepare for auditions, just show up and have fun! Attention Junior Class Parents & Students: Concessions Help Needed on Tuesday, January 30th! The concessions stand is being opened to support the Boys & Girls Basketball games. The full concessions time is from 4:00pm to approximately 9:00pm. Our preference is that the kids are out cheering on their team, but they can be a great asset to have prior to game starts and during halftimes! Mini Cheer Sign-Up Deadline for grades Pre-K through 6th is tomorrow, January 17th! A physical flyer with the QR code was sent home to sign up electronically, or you can sign up via the link below. Practice times will be determined at a later date and will be sent to you via email once you sign up. Cost is $50 per student.
